V-TAS gives CCTV Control Room Management to your control room.

Designed to provide CCTV system operators and managers with a comprehensive control and administration solution, V-TAS delivers a highly effective integrated control room management tool. Affording complete control over the operational and legislative environment ensures the correct response to an event or incident - every time.

Producing powerful incident and repeat offender reporting, in addition to detailed operational control, such as equipment maintenance and operator activity, V-TAS provides an effective prosecution tool, supplying a comprehensive evidential audit trail of all incidents and associated operator actions.

System management is greatly simplified via V-TAS’s End of Period Analysis reports and Spot Cluster Analysis tool. These features allow control room managers to keep tight control of spending and resources; helping to relieve as much as 30% of the average operators daily workload - freeing up time to be spent on other management areas.

Effectively storing each and every incident is vital for effective prosecutions; V-TAS allows users to access a variety of essential data, such as:

• Incident Category
• Responses
• Vehicles Involved
• Actions Taken
• Location of Incident
• Results
• People Involved
• Multimedia Attachments
• Activity Log

Each incident can be instantly cross-coordinated with others via the V-TAS cluster mapping feature, allowing detailed analysis of a camera network, (or any individual part of it) highlighting incident hot spots; allowing operators and the police to build a comprehensive picture of the areas most ‘at risk’ from criminal and anti-social behaviour.

With plotting each cameras field of vision you can effectively locate potential future camera locations, by comparing current coverage against incident hotspots. V-TAS plots the locations and viewable areas of each camera using its Cluster Mapping function.

Using the Auxiliary Camera Function, it is also possible to investigate the scene coverage from cameras not necessarily included in the system but ones which may contain vital incident information, such as cameras covering adjacent business outlets etc.

Further assisting retrospective investigation, V-TAS stored all operator shift processes to help improve operator efficiency and provide an effective audit trail of operator actions should it be needed, to assist with offender prosecution.
